Dr. Teodor Pitea, MD is a very kind Doctor who actually listens to what you have to say. Also, he looks you in your eyes when he is talking to you. He Is a brilliant Doctor a Doctor that you may want to consider going to.

Everything was great from Admin, nurses and the nurse that gave the I V was a 10 +, 1 poke and the needle was in.

Dr. Teodor is obviously passionate about the POEM procedure and his role in helping people understand why it might be the best solution for the patient.
For months this has been challenging, getting through all the tests and finally getting a diagnosis. He helped me in understanding how I was probably misdiagnosed for years, which is the same thing that initially happened with my PBC. Naturally I was scared about what was happening and potential required surgery. I was able to leave the appointment feeling I now have all the information I needed in order to make a decision that would benefit me. I am looking forward to feeling normal again and I am glad that Dr. Teodor has the level of experience that is critical to a successful outcome.

By the time I saw Kristen for the first time, I had already seen two other specialists that didn't know what to do. I was referred to them by nurses that had previously worked with them in the valley (I live in Pinetop). From the minute I walked in to the office, I knew I was at an office that was going to help me. Kristen listened to me for a full 30 minutes with only interrupting me for some questions. At the end of my frustrating story, she looked at me and said forget what all the other doctors had told you this is what's wrong. She gave me a diagnosis, the treatment plan and scheduled me for my first procedure before I had even left. While I was scheduling for the initial procedure, she got on the phone with Pitea, who said let's go ahead and just do the POEM, and schedule that for me instead before I left the office! The POEM went great and I just finished my 6 month follow up procedure two days ago. Anytime I've had questions about medicines the staff has gotten back to me quickly. This office has given me faith in doctors again.
